Rodstation invest in new state of the art chimney brush making machinery Rodstation have made a significant investment into two new brush manufacturing machines from a renowned Italian machine manufacturer. The first machine is a twist brush machine allowing Rodstation to make a comprehensive range of chimney flue brushes up to a total length of 1.7metres in a range of different sizes and wire stiffness. Flue brushes are an essential piece of equipment for chimney sweeps when cleaning in and around top plates on solid fuel range cookers, back boilers and difficult to reach areas on masonry stoves. Rodstation's second new machine is a technical brush manufacturing machine. This machine can manufacture intricate technical brushes by injecting tufts of brush material. These can be used for widespread applications and will be paramount in the manufacture of a new range of chimney cleaning and duct cleaning equipment which they will be releasing this Summer. Rodstation director Adam Pedersen said ‘these machines really allow us to expand our range as we strive to keep manufacturing inhouse rather than relying on any imports, it also keeps our lead times short as all our staff are fully trained on how to operate the machinery. We are excited for the future and will be working on the design and testing of new brush designs to increase our portfolio’.
