Do plumbers install bathrooms?

Ben and Son Home Improvements are delighted to help with bathroom design and install projects, as we have all the skills required to manage the project and complete all the tasks included in a bathroom refurbishment from tiling to toilets.

What are the different door designs are there?

Our doors come in a range of styles and designs that can be customised to your personal taste. We offer Bi-fold doors, composite doors, French doors, sliding patio doors and garage doors. All of which can come with a choice of glazing, side panels and are available in a range of colours, styles and accessories including letterplates, spyholes and handles.

Do I need planning permission?

You will not require planning permission to replace the roof of your conservatory, however building control regulations are recommended. You may want to obtain the building regulations yourself or Bell and Son can obtain them for you. We can also provide building regulations at a discounted price. You can contact us with any further queries regarding building regulations or you can explore the planning portal website for further information.

How long does it take?

A solid conservatory roof installation from Bell and Son will take between 1-3 days from old roof removal to internal plaster finish. If the conservatory is particularly large it may take up to 5 days to complete.

Can you put a new roof on an old conservatory?

Yes, you can replace your old conservatory roof with a new one. But, this will be dependent on your existing conservatory structure being in good condition and sturdy enough. You can choose from a selection of three styles for your new roof and the option for a roof conversion from glass to tiled if you want a more functional space.
