Synthetic sofas usually take approx 4 hours to fully dry. Other fabrics can take longer depending on the thickness of the pile. Cushions must only be placed back on the frame once completely dry as this will avoid musty odours or mould growth. Air flow is important, so it is advised to leave a few windows and/ or doors slightly open until the sofa frames and cushions are dry. Drying advice will be given at the end of the clean and also on the invoice.

We only clean under large pieces of furniture as above if there's a minimum of 2 inches gap as there has to be airflow so the carpet can dry once the furniture has been put back. If the furniture is flat to the floor or less than 2 inches then it's advised to clean around or if the client moves as much as possible before we start to ensure these areas are cleaned. If any large pieces of furniture are awkward or too heavy for us to move then we reserve the right to leave the items in situ. If we attempt to move any heavy arm chairs, sofas, corner sofas or beds, this can pull on the carpet and cause delamination, ripples and pull the carpet off the grippers.

At the moment, we use hot water supplied by the client. This reduces the price of carpet and upholstery cleaning and there are future plans for us to carry and supply water on our vans.

When we give clients a quotation, we ask if there are any stains present and our prices are based on a deep clean only. The most common stains that can't be removed by a deep clean are; ink, tea, coffee, red wine, oily spots, yellowing or bleaching from pet urine, paint, tar, chewing gum, blu tack, grease, vomit, blood, shoe polish, food & soft drink stains. If a client would like stain removal on the day, this will be charged as per our price guide and only if we have the allowed time in between bookings to do this.
