REMEMBER, TOILET PAN ADAPTORS…. Are not external fittings. Will break down quickly when used externally. Used on soil vent pipes will probably leak. Will restrict flow, resulting in blockages. Connected to old 75mm cast-iron soil pipes, will certainly cause blockages. And if using two pan adaptors in quick succession, well, you’re asking for trouble. THE RIGHT WAY Although more cost may be involved, old cast-iron soil vent pipes have to be removed completely, all the way to the underground clay drain. Only then will the new soil vent pipe be problem free. Options should be discussed prior to installation.
