FAQs

What maximum dimensions can bespoke baths be made to?

The maximum length/width of a bath that we can make is 2m. Internal depth is limited to 1m. Anything beyond these dimensions becomes a fully bespoke item.

Can I design my own bath?

Yes! Rectilinear designs can be developed with relative ease but curves can be more complex. Please get in touch so that we can discuss the design possibilities and limitations.

Can I supply brassware to be fitted to a William Garvey sink, basin or bath?

We will gladly integrate free-issue brassware to any ordered baths or basins. Some items will not be suitable for use with our baths and basins, but we will gladly advise on this. Please note that there is a charge for fitting and testing non-standard brassware.

What timbers are Waterproof Wood products available in?

Our baths and basins are available in teak, cedar, maple oak and black walnut. Please enquire if you have a particular timber or finish that you are interested in. Due to use and constructional techniques, kitchen sinks, tiles, duckboards, and shower trays are only available in teak.

What is the life expectancy of a William Garvey Waterproof Wood product?

We are aiming to make 100 year pieces. We made our first sink in 1979, it has survived three moves and is still with the original owner. Our products come with a one year warranty. We stand by our products and support our customers to resolve any issues they experience after the warranty period.
