On this job a shower pump had been fitted. A month earlier a Combi boiler was installed. Then the shower started to become faulty. Another plumber replaced the pump. The cold and hot needed to be connected direct. So I removed the pump and connected the cold and hot directly to the sink pipes. Which were easily accessible. Then realised the issue was the shower all along. As the 3 year old shower was poor quality. I replaced it with a much better quality. And affordable option with a 5 year guarantee. Now the tenant has a properly plumbed in shower. However the Landlord has paid £400.00 for nothing. This caused much distrust with the tenants and made a simple job more difficult. Not only is it illegal to pump direct off mains pressure. It was completely unnecessary!
