Halfway through our HMO/SA conversion in Newcastle-under-Lyme. The first fix electrics are done and everywhere is completely plastered. Skirting boards and architraves are in place and the fire doors are hung. The kitchen – albeit a small one – has also been fitted. Upstairs, we’ve carved out a new space to accommodate a second bathroom. To do this, we pinched a little space from the large front bedroom.
