The ecofill solution works with a combination of brand new, custom designed and patent pending plant machinery that mixes clays and subsoils (ex-situ) with a bespoke, formulated proprietary binder at a predefined ratio. When the end product is compacted the stiffness and load bearing of the ground dramatically increases in order to support the trafficking and loading that will be placed upon it. Ecofill has a workability period of up to 10 calendar days (provided stockpiles are sealed). This allows for much greater flexibility in site operations.

After final compaction, EcoFill only requires 24 to 48 hours to cure, this is faster than traditional binders such as cement or quick lime allowing the customer to open up the Ecofill structure to traffic in a shorter period of time.
