FAQs

What preparation is needed?

When we have a clear room, we only then require a few good plug points for our machines and good access to the room we are working in. Unless otherwise agreed to spilt the work in to sections, we will be working on all the floors that have been quoted at once. We also require provision to park at or close to your property. If parking permits are required, please provide these if possible.

I have pets, what should I do?

Its best if pets can be kept out of the way of the rooms we are working in for the duration of the restoration, but most importantly while we are coating and while coatings are drying.

What do I need to do when moving back in?

Moving your furniture back in is usually always possible the following day. Very heavy furniture should be left until the coatings are fully cured. Avoid using furniture movers like rollers and sliders until the floor is fully cured and any aids should be designed for wood floors. Either screw in or stick on felt feet should be used for furniture legs where possible.

How often should I consider commercial floor restoration?

The frequency depends on factors like foot traffic and the type of flooring. Our experts can assess and recommend a suitable schedule during a consultation.

Are there any specific maintenance requirements after floor sanding?

Routine maintenance is essential to preserve the beauty and durability of your sanded floor. This includes regular cleaning, we recommend the PALLMANN CLEAN & GO system.
