Some old inefficient radiators being removed this week to allow for more efficient, with the faster and better heat output of modern radiators it’s no wonder this client decided to install new radiators. They’ve since asked us to repipe the radiators too as they’re all on old 8mm microbore pipe which is prone for problems and blockages unless the system is thoroughly cleaned and kept clean. The change in pipework alone will make a huge difference to efficiency as the radiators will heat faster so will give more heat out to the rooms. Not only this but they’ve asked us to install a new programmable room thermostat on the boiler too as the old set up is not working correctly with the thermostat being sited in the wrong place.
