Generally, the first site visit takes 1 hour, although this can vary depending on the size and complexity of your project, and how much information you need from us at this stage. This includes a quick survey of your home to take key measurements that are required to put together a quotation for the works.

We usually have a two-month waiting list for new projects; however, we do sometimes get last minute cancellations that will allow you to start sooner than that. Please bear in mind that before starting your project you will likely need to have party wall agreements, building regulation drawings and council approval. These items usually take an average of 3 months to be completed.

High traffic areas are those parts of your home that will be accessed frequently throughout the project. These usually involve hallways, staircases and landings. In order to protect these areas of your home, we lay carpet protector and corex sheeting. It is also possible to request a quotation to include additional protection in your home to fully limit the risk of any damage / wear and tear.

Children and pets should still be able to access most of your home in the usual way. It is advised that access to the loft space during construction is restricted, and we can discuss ways you can achieve this at our initial site visit.

In the majority of cases there will be no disruption to your services during the works. In some cases, you may have items such as a gas pipe, a boiler or water tank in the loft. You should arrange for these to be relocated ahead of the works starting, alternatively we can provide you with a quotation to carry out this work.
