It’s totally the wrong time of year to be posting a garden reveal. But we didn’t want to miss out on sharing this last element of the Oakwood project we’ve been sharing recently. - Creating a garden space that flowed from inside to outside was crucial for this family. And they wanted spaces that were both shaded and exposed to the sun. - The garage in the corner of the garden was going to be taken down as part of the extension build. But we decided to suggest using two of the garage walls to create a shaded seating area. - This not only meant a saving on building new walls, but also saved on a number of old materials going into the skip. And with a new render, new roof with timber cladding on the underside, it creates a lovely space to relax and have a glass of wine in the evening sun. - Swipe to see the garage before as well as the designs we created to show the vision for the space.
