Mexican Inspired Bedroom Anyone?!nnHelen is an amazing client. She had a clear vision of what she liked and the look she wanted, just needed a little help being bold enough to make the change.nnWe started the process with an in depth session involving colour, textures, wallpapers and a discussion on ideas for furniture and general look n feel.nn From that consultation, I was able to get to know Helen a little better, understand what she is passionate about and what is important to her.nnI then went away, created a design that was supported with a layout plan and budget spreadsheet. That work brought the whole thing to life!nnA few tweaks to my ideas which is totally fine;nn- Helen thought the shape of the headboard I suggested looked like trifle sponge fingers 😆nn- Wicker accessories was transporting her straight back to the 1970’s!nnSo that was a no & I came up with alternatives that suited my client better ❤️nnWe agreed to ‘up cycle’ elements of the bedroom;nn- fitted wardrobes that were functional but out dated n- a chest of drawers that fitted the space perfectly & well made but old fashionednnIn addition, we created a much more functional dressing area with bespoke wardrobes & an internal configuration to suit, keeping this area pale & interesting due to the absence of natural light.nnBe fab to hear what you think? nnHugs xxx...
