Here’s a view from the snug/playroom we shared on Monday. It leads onto another seating area that is linked to the kitchen/dining area and leads to the newly landscaped garden. - It may feel extravagant to have two seating areas next to each like this. But with a growing family and the ability to host friends and family now, having these separate seating areas gives this family flexibility and also futureproofs their home. - The snug/playroom can act as another spare bedroom (the sofa is a sofabed), but the internal bifold doors also means that it can be shut off when the children are gaming or watching a film and the adults want some separation and quiet. - This separation also enabled us to use different colours and patterns while keeping consistency with the flooring and other textures.
