Happy Monday everyone. Heres a thought for the morning......... I think I am correct in saying that our industry requires a very high level of trust from both the client and the contractor. So to show that trust, when we tender for clients, we will detail quotes to each room and each task in that room. We list the materials, finishes, labour, number of days, number of people required and waste solution. On top of this, we add contingency, possible hidden costs and our modest project management fees. We ask our trades to cost, quote, charge the client directly so there are no charges from us for handling the trades or materials. It is as detailed and transparent at the beginning of the tender journey as it can be. Our quotes double up as a cost and schedule report for the client to use as a reference point for staying on top of the project at every stage. A priceless tool for a client to use on their project. I am confident that our quotes in the last 18 months were on budget and on time, unless there was a change in the original build or bill of materials that was discussed and agreed with the client beforehand. Im so confident on that we are currently thinking of a way on how to offer some sort of price guarantee. Additionally, as an award winning company we also try to pride ourselves in giving that extra mile when it comes to service and aftercare, both of which are completely adaptable based purely on the clients needs.
