We firmly believe in using the finest materials available for their strength, durability and longevity. Our premium cabinetry is built using a real timber veneered, poplar ply board, for its excellent stability and natural wood grain finish, (with the exception of our Moreton range, built entirely from high grade birch faced plywood). All framed cabinetry features solid tulipwood frames and solid timber cornice and skirtings. Doors are built from a combination of tulipwood and MDF, for their strength and stability when combined, and to provide a surface that gives a consistently smooth paint finish. All drawer boxes are always solid timber (usually oak or walnut) and feature traditionally dovetailed joints. As an alternative, when working to a budget, we offer a high grade Egger MFC board cabinet, which can reduce costs by up to 10%.

Our furniture is always primed and given an initial spray coat of paint in our workshop. It is then hand painted in situ on site once fitted. We find this combination gives the best overall finish to the cabinetry.

We do offer a service where we manage the purchasing of your appliances, for which we charge a small handling fee. We have a number of select brands we are comfortable supplying. Alternatively, if you would prefer to source and purchase your own appliances, we are happy to guide you through the selection process.

Most kitchen installations take around 15 days from start to finish. This includes installation of the cabinetry, work surface templating and fitting and final hand painting. This can vary in each project depending on complexity and size. Individual furniture installations will take far less and we will advise of expected timescales at the time of booking.

If building works have been carried out prior to fitting, all plaster, paintworks and flooring need to be dry. In some instances, we may need to measure moisture levels with a hygrometer to ensure humidity levels are sufficient for fitting. This is because excess moisture can cause the cabinetry to swell, and then later contract, causing damage to the paintwork and compromising the finish of the kitchen.
