🤩 Kirstys renovation 🤩nnWe have something special for you today, local Cumbrian lass Kirsty is the epitome of a strong, independent woman and is showing us what hard work and dedication can create. nKirsty is a solo home buyer in a new Taylor Whimpey property and is dedicated to renovating everything herself. Unfortunately, when she reserved the house, the kitchen had already been chosen and approved, much to her despair.nnBefore the worktops were fitted, she had the kitchen tiled, and that’s when she realised she hated how dark they were! She liked the white gloss cupboards though, and did what anyone would do… contacted Andersons Carlisle! She tells me both her Mum and Grandparents had new kitchens designed by us in 2010, and still to this day people comment on how beautiful and well fitted the kitchen is, thanks Keith! nnKirsty came in store chatted to one of our friendly members of staff and picked her new worktops, sink and hob, the only person she wanted to fit them was, yep, you guessed it, Keith! The renovations are finally finished after only a small glitch and we can say without hesitation that the end result has definitely been worth it.nKirsty’s long-term goal is to extend the kitchen, and will be coming back to Andersons because she ‘finds the staff super friendly in the Carlisle branch and I wouldn’t go anywhere else’ and will ‘’hopefully be fitted by Keith if he’s still going!’ Him and his son worked really hard – even though on the hottest day of the year they decided to turn the water off (to fit a sink) and Kirsty ended up with a very dry paddling pool.nnOverall Kirsty did the renovations because she wasn’t able to choose my perfect kitchen when the house was built and wanted to let her keen eye for design and personality show through her house.nnI really recommend you follow Kirsty’s journey on Instagram – the.aldenham.story.nnWe can’t wait to see what design delights come from Kirsty in 2023.
