FAQs

Can I use a steam cleaner on my new Amtico Spacia floor?

Most manufacturers recommend that you do not use steam cleaners on their products as they can damage your floor covering or may release the adhesive. Please refer to your particular manufacturers maintenance guidelines.

Can I look at installing Amtico flooring?

Yes. We would call to look at the condition of your sub floor and measure for your requirements. It may be that your existing floor boards need to be re secured or possibly replaced. You may then require a 9mm or 122m plywood for your sub floor preparation rather than the recommended minimum of 6mm. There is generally always a solution and we would be happy to discuss in greater detail when we visit your home.

Can I have Amtico flooring on my stairs?

Yes. This product is ideal on stairs due to its slip resistance features and great wear qualities. It can look lovely particularly if you chose a contrasting nosing feature.

Can this be used in our bathroom and en suite areas?

Yes. Moduleo, Amtico and Karndean products are ideal for any wet areas in your home. As these products are vinyl they are able to get wet without causing damage. These products are also ideal for wet areas due to their slip resistance qualities.

Are floor covering like Amtico and Karndean easy to maintain?

Yes. Amtico, Karndean and Moduleo floor coverings are very simple to maintain. Each manufacturer has maintenance products, however, these are very simple to use. We generally provide maintenance products free of charge to each of our customers and our team are more than happy to discuss any maintenance issues you may have prior to, and after installation.
