Expert Laminate and Vinyl Flooring Contractors in Hertford

We have had the pleasure of working with St Albans High School for Girls, in St Albans, Hertfordshire, for a considerable number of years now. In that time, we have supplied and fitted flooring for the whole building — and our latest project with the school was supplying and fitting for a refurbished block. The requirements were what you’d expect for a school: non-slip vinyl on the floors, and nosings on the staircases to eliminate slip-hazards. The other ‘must have’ was to match the parquet vinyl on the first floor and stairs to the real wood block floor on the ground floor. To do this, we fitted new wood-effect vinyl in Polyflor’sDesignatex PUR range and matched the colour successfully. We think the block – with different vinyl wood throughout and bespoke mats with the school name and logo we designed for our client – looks very smart — and we look forward to continuing our relationship with St Albans.
