Not sure i have time to make a post, but its been a while, anyway, living here on Ynys mon its not unusual to have boat/sea related work, here some images of some work over the last few weeks, nice change, in-between the norm! Boat hull Laser scanned with my trimble x7, but we also have hand held scanners for smaller items from a car all the way down to a dice with accuracies at 0.01mm.nThe hull scan was brought into solidworks and surface modelled to create the drawings.nThe CNC work is a model of the irish sea floor carved in MDF, info derived from open source data and converted into a 3d model suitable for the CNC.nAll this going on in between the usual topographic surveys and measured building work, bespoke engravings for my etsy site, and a shed load of 3d printing. Cant complain, also got some wood needs cutting on the large mill! oh, and a safari tent to put up :) :)nnif you need any laser scanning services get in touch :)...
