The key steps for creating a resin bound driveway Before we begin the installation process for a resin bound driveway, we ensure that your existing surface is flat and free from gaps and holes. This is essential since the resin bound layer will be applied over this. The resin must follow the grooves of the surface to achieve a smooth and flawless installation. Any holes need to be patched up before we can proceed with the installation. We will then wash the surface with a pressure jet in order to remove any loose stones or dirt. This helps the resin to settle and easily attach to your old surface. We may also decide to add Primer C depending on whether we think this will benefit you. This is a liquid primer similar to a very strong glue which gives the surface a tough bond. We place the stones that we need to make the resin into a mixer to remove dust.
