Bring your pond back to life with Turtle Productions! This client was undertaking a renovation project to the rear of their new home and we were asked to drain and clean their pond. We were very pleased to assist with this project! Once the pond had all the excess plant life cut back and removed, the pond drained and thoroughly cleaned, our attentive operatives discovered that the pond had a number of holes in the existing liner (almost 40 in total!), which would have most certainly resulted in the pond not remaining watertight. Our client therefore opted to simultaneously reline their pond to instantly resolve this issue. The Turtle Team were happy to help and were able to prioritise the additional work required for our client and immediately delivered a liner to site to install. The timber that was found to be decayed was replaced and the new premium EPDM liner laid. The client requested to re-lay the stone edging themselves, therefore the liner edge was left exposed for the time being. The stonework at the end of the pond was reconfigured to create an attractive spill stone. We expect the pond to mature beautifully in the coming months and look forward to seeing how it settles in!
