Attended this property in orpington which the customer thought may be Squirrels. Sometimes the droppings can look very similar to Rat droppings. I was not 100% and said to customer some of these droppings appear to be Rats. This led me to use traps to identify 100% what we were dealing with. There were large holes around the fascia boards which could easily allow Squirrels to gain entry with no visible entry points low down. Traps were set and upon return next day I was greeted with the sight above. Now we know 100% what we are dealing with a more in depth search was carried out and within minutes the entry point was located. Within 7 days this problem will be cured leaving the customer to just seal the entry point to prevent further rodent ingress.
