Rightmove claims great photography 📸 can quadruple the number of enquiries for advertised properties. 🏡 So, If you want to attract more interest from potential buyers, the standard of your estate agents photography is paramount! 🤩 🙋🏻‍♂️I listen to so many buyers complain about the poor standard of photos and general marketing of homes. For the majority of estate agents the photographer is a member of staff who comes out and takes the photos. They more than likely won’t know anything about photography and they will just point and shoot. Often at bad angles, with poor lighting and using a wide eyed lens that distorts the size of the rooms. Before anyone asks, yes that was me once upon a time too! 🙈 These types of images will make your buyers feel wholeheartedly disappointed when they arrive to view your home as it will feel smaller than expected, or a lot even say the photos don’t do it justice and are then pleasantly surprised. When I used to hear these comments it made me cringe 😬 but I was employed and couldn’t do anything about it at the time. Before you entrust your biggest asset to an agent, please, do more research 🧐 on how that agent will market your home.
