GNR have been shortlisted for a pitched Roofing Award for their work at All Hallows Church in Leeds. A complex project involving a change in roof covering from concrete interlocking tiles to standing seam zinc. The project involved a large multi faceted fully vented covering and restoration work to the decaying stone clad tower. We are pleased that our work has been recognised by our nomination for a national award and hope to find out result over the next few weeks. Aesthetically and functionally, the Church Building has been transformed allowing the community to thrive. All Hallows provides an important hub for individuals and families in this inner city area of Leeds. The food bank is a popular location and the pay as you feel cafe a welcome resource for low income people needing the respite of a friendly and all inclusive Church. We were grateful for the opportunity not assist the All Hallows Community in brining the church building back to life after many years of water ingress. The insulation levels were also upgraded using a recycled denim product which should help to dramatically reduce running costs, an important part of the overall investment for the Church.
