We started the year replacing two tin garage roofs that had started to leak. The tin sheeting was fixed down extremely well with a large number of rivets, so the strip out was a challenge. Once stripped we inspected the timber roof joists to make sure there hadn’t been any significant damage caused by the leak. We were happy with their condition and began to fit the new 18mm OSB deck in preparation for the rubber. We used two pieces of rubber due to the size of the area we were working with, and join the two with the manufacturers 3 inch joining tape. We fitted new white UPVC capping and guttering, and finished the job with kerb and gutter trim.
