Creative Building Projects were appointed as the Principal Contractor for the refurbishment and remodelling of two suites at Solly Street for the University of Sheffield's Occupational Health department. This project included creating a Clinical Assessment Room, Reception, Waiting Area, and three Consultation Rooms. As with all projects, we worked closely with our client to meet their requirements. During this refurbishment, we operated in a live environment, ensuring appointments and consultations continued in the space. With exams taking place below, we meticulously managed noise control and scheduled work to minimise disruptions to students. Our scope of work: 🔸 Demolition of internal glazed screens, partitions, floor finishes, and ceilings. 🔸 Removal of redundant mechanical and electrical services. 🔸 Constructing a new Reception, Waiting Area, Assessment Room with a vanity unit, and three Consultation Rooms. 🔸 Enhancing acoustic performance, installing new floor finishes, suspended ceilings, and redecorating. 🔸 Upgrading mechanical and electrical services.
