Why do we oversize panel array to inverter output?

Oversizing the panel array enhances inverter efficiency, optimises power production. Compensating variable weather conditions, maximising overall energy yield.

Do i need a battery with my solar panel system?

No, solar systems work well without batteries. Batteries increase overall self- sufficiency by allowing you to store your own generated power for night time. They also allow you to force charge with cheap rate electricity.

Do all solar systems export to the grid?

If the power being generated isn't needed within the house, and your battery's are charged, the power will export to the grid, providing no limits are put in place by the Dno.
