Roadside Ash Removal in Stoke Cannon, near Exeter - This tree was marked with an orange 'x' by Devon Highways, with a note that explains to the customer that the tree is diseased with Ash Dieback (Hymenoscyphus Fraxineus). It really is quite sad to be noticing how much the disease is really setting in now. The trees are becoming increacingly dangerous to work with due to the wood becoming dry, brittle and very 'snappy'.
