FAQs

How will my trees be delivered?

Deliveries are made by our experienced haulage partners with whom we have been working for many years. Vehicles range from 7.5t rigid or flat-bed, to curtain-sided articulated lorries. Please let our team know if you have any access restrictions at the time of order, or if you require any further details about unloading.

How long can the trees remain in the their containers post-delivery?

It is always best to aim to plant as soon as possible after arrival which limits the possibility of the trees becoming damaged whilst they are being stored. Through the winter months whilst the trees are dormant there is no immediate rush on planting, however we would recommend delaying delivery if you are not likely to be able to planting within around 5 days of receiving your order. In summer and warmer months the trees will need to be watered whilst in their bags if there is a delay in planting.

Do Barcham offer site visits?

We are pleased to offer a garden consultation service to most areas of the UK. Please see our Garden Consultation page for full details on how this service works.

What size trees do Barcham have?

Our specimens start at 10-12cm girth, ranging up to 25-30cm girth. If you are looking for 20 litre trees please contact our team to discuss your specifications.

What is your return policy?

If you have received a tree(s) which you deem unsatisfactory due to quality or damage we ask that you please do not accept delivery, and leave the tree(s) on the delivery vehicle for return to our nursery. Following this, our team can arrange for a replacement or full refund. Please contact our office to discuss your options. Please do not plant a tree you are unhappy with as this will be deemed as acceptance we will be unable to replace or refund such specimens. Please note, trees ordered in error can be returned for a full refund against the tree however no refund will be made against the delivery charge. Please see our full returns policy here.
