FAQs
How do I prepare for my appointment?
A working area with a minimum of 1.5 x 1.5 meters is usually sufficient for us to operate in. We're more than happy to assist you with moving any objects such as coffee tables, and heavy objects that maybe obstructing us from the work area. The day before your appointment, please do not use your appliance as the flue maybe too hot to sweep.
Will there be any mess?
No mess, no fuss is a policy we strongly stick to. We use multiple sheets to protect your carpet and flooring, and we have additional sheets for furniture that maybe in close proximity to the fireplace. We use sponge blocking systems for woodstoves and chimney openings to prevent the spread of soot and dust coming out into the property. On larger openings such as inglenooks we use soot sheets to sweep through. A Hepa rated vacuum soot remover will be in operation through out the entire sweeping process. A mindful, clean and thorough job will be provided.
Do you fit cowls and woodstoves?
We have a few fitters we work closely with who we highly recommend and come fully accredited. We're more than happy to give you a referral if you require any of these services.
