Tree surgeon Billy can be seen making his way up a Poplar tree stem and finishing off the last cuts on a tree height reduction. The tree was being reduced in height as a means to manage its canopy and to also, due to its species limit the likelihood of snapped branches in the seasons high winds. The tree had grown over three neighbouring gardens and had over the years lost some minor branches. It had more than likely self seeded many years ago and with home extension and garden improvements was in the need of management. Decking was around the base of the tree so this was protected by ourselves and a lowering device used to lower all branches to the ground under control.
