My Top TIP! Appoint an Architect from the beginning who is invested in the whole picture to deliver a home lifestyle transformation through their drawings! Reason: Potential clients tell me about drawing services by others, carried out in isolation from the interior use & clients being told they can sort the internal arrangements out later. My Feedback tells me this leaves clients overwhelmed & confused as they are looking to the professionals to help guide them towards the optimal solution. Many don’t realise that much of the ‘drawing’ work available is geared up at getting them planning approval as easily as possible and therefore don’t have a focus on enhancing clients lifestyles and the overall outcome. At Livewell Architecture, we know that a successful outcome requires simultaneous consideration of the interior use as part of the decisions making for the wall and window/ door positioning - They are NOT mutually exclusive from one another! Take these interior visualisations for example- the floorplan layout and arrangement of furniture and extent of kitchen units, location of windows and doors- all of this was thought out in 2D plan at concept stage before we finalised planning drawings. We discussed it with the client and helped them to see in plan format how they would live in the space before proceeding with planning submission. The outcome = client understood what they were getting and was happy and confident before the drawings were finalised.
