🟠 GOSPORT PROJECT… LAYOUTS 🟠nn🔸Here’s the first floor layouts… we haven’t altered, added to or adjusted anything on the original drawings, but simply recreated them in our standard ARCHIBUILD 3D way for ease of fair comparison…nn🔸 The original designers were also tasked with creating a first floor layout with 4 bedrooms including a master with en-suite and dressing room with a family bathroom to serve the remaining bedrooms…nn🔸 When we were given the original layout we had concerns about the proportion of the fourth bedroom - yes this is how the furniture was shown on the drawings… and no turning the bed through 90 degrees against the long wall doesn’t allow someone to walk past the end of the bed 🫣nn🔸 The bathrooms were drawn with slightly scaled down sanityware so when redrafted to scale… the available movement space narrowed and became unnervingly tight… whilst minor touches like the available wall space for a tv in the master bed due to the internal doors had not been thought about and restricted the clients options…nn🔸 ARCHIBUILD layout… nn🔸 Our main focus centred on creating three balanced bedrooms with a grand master suite. Moving both the bathroom and en-suite to the central core of the house allowed the bedrooms to benefit from full height glass windows to the rear aspect. This change also allowed for fourth bedroom to be proportioned in a more conventional manner that can be easily furnished in multiple ways…nn🔸 An American inspired first floor laundry cupboard with washing machine and condensing tumble dryer will save the client carrying the laundry up and down stairs…nn🔸 The master suite takes centre stage with the main focus on ensuring several spaces including dressing area and en-suite all flow. The dressing room has been organised behind a partition wall that will double up as the beds head board. Details to be confirmed but this wall could be upholstered, clad in timber, painted or papered in a bold colour/print to create a focal point within the room…nn🔸Little features like the vista from the en-suite out through the full height window in the dressing room and a full height satin glass window in the family bathroom just elevate the home owners experience on a daily basis through simple but thoughtful design…nn🧡DareToBeBold🧡nn🧡TeamworkAlwaysMakesTheDreamwork 🧡...
