We designed a two storey side extension that required a number of changes to the layout of the property. Originally, a garage sat on the left of the house and upon entering a lounge was located to the right. This was directly connected to the dining room and the kitchen which was at the back of the property. The garage is demolished and the extension created to relocate the dining room to its new position, with direct access created to the adjoining hallway at the entrance. The original kitchen area is replaced with a cupboard space and new utility room. A new, much larger kitchen now covers much of the area at the back of the house on the ground floor. The position of the new extension means the layout of the rooms upstairs remained untouched. A large bedroom is added just to the left at the top of the stairs, with two new windows added to the room. A bathroom already existed next door, but a new en suite bathroom was created to finish off the extension upstairs. Are you looking for something similar to this for your home?
