Whilst our time is usually charged on an hourly basis, we can also provide estimates for work when the scope and project requirements can be determined fully. Our experts will communicate with you throughout a case to identify any additional work necessary as well as its associated fees. We aim for complete transparency with our clients throughout an investigation to control costs and ensure that where limits have been set, these are not exceeded without prior approval. It is nearly always preferable to visit, but every case is unique, and it can be possible to carry out an investigation without a site visit, or remotely if the right tools, evidence, or documents are available. Please contact us to discuss your case.

We photograph and record all physical evidence before securely packing and transporting it to our environmentally controlled exhibit storage facilities. This ensures that the evidence is preserved should a third party wish to examine it in the future. We only retain evidence that is absolutely necessary for an ongoing case.

All Hawkins reports are submitted to a peer review process, carried out by a Senior or Principal Associate in the same technical field. This ensures that all our reports contain sound technical findings written in a clear and structured format. Court reports are subject to two separate reviews carried out by Senior or Principal Associates, to give you peace of mind that all findings have been thoroughly considered.
