Job SummarynnDue to continual growth and success we are seeking to appoint a highly motivated, skilled and committed individual to provide technical and physical support to a growing project team within the business. The role, which will predominantly be site based, is undertaking projects such as; structural load testing to British Standard or bespoke requirements, site based inspections, environmental monitoring and bespoke structural monitoring installations and maintenance, nationwide. You will be joining a dynamic and multi-disciplinary small team.nnThe roll will include a dynamic mixture of mainly daily on-site work (nationwide) and also a small percentage of work at our testing facilities in Ellesmere Port. You will also be initially working closely with a more experienced staff member whilst training is undertaken and shall provide assistance to undertake any works delegated.nnJob Responsibilities:nnWorking as part of a small growing team to undertake long and short term projects.nAssisting with providing a higher quality of work to uphold the Company reputation.nAccurate recording of data and validation / checking of results.nAnalysing, reporting and generating certification on all testing undertaken, strictly promptly.nCarry out daily On-Site/Laboratory testing work and yard work as directed, with initiative.nAssistance with maintenance of equipment and Calibration Records.nBe able to focus on deliverables and to work well within a small growing team.nVehicles maintenance, checks and up-keeping of vehicle appearance.nTo be aware of Company Health and Safety requirements and adhere to them fully.nTo be aware of all Company Policies and Procedures and adhere to them fully.nKey Experience and Skills:nnAn understanding of electrical/mechanical/structural engineering - (Non-Essential).nFluent in Computer and Microsoft Office Suite - Word, Excel, Outlook, PDF.nSite experience (demonstrate competence with site tools/equipment)(Desirable).nGood attention to detail.nGood house keeping on Sites and in the Laboratory.nThe ability to work as part of a team and independently to deliver accurate, compliant completed results and excellent customer service - always.nAbility to work independently and adhere to short deadlines.nHave a flexible approach to time-keeping when completing jobs.nA full and valid UK Driving Licence (6 points or less).nStrong committed work ethics with a willingness to learn.nPunctual, committed and reliable!nFocused attitude and behaviour.nWillingness to Work Away/Drive Nationwide daily to undertake work which may require additional hours - adhoc.nCSCS Card (preferred, can be undertaken later where necessary).nRelevant Qualifications are desired, however not essential as job training will be issued along with internal & external qualifications provided by the Company when required.nnAbout The Company:nnSpecialist Technical Services (U.K) Limited was founded in 2015 and is quickly becoming one of the UK's leading providers offering an extensive range of Testing, Inspection, Installation, Monitoring and Compliance services which have been developed for a broad range of industry sectors.nnWe offer such Services as Dynamic & Static Load Testing, Sound & Vibration Monitoring and Structural Monitoring Installations and maintenance.
