We recently employed Slavek and Wlodek to do a range of renovation works around our house. Originally we were just looking to have the external paintwork stripped back and renewed but once we realised they were actually highly versatile all-round tradesmen we asked them to do a lot more. This included: reinforcing and re-skimming ceilings; repairing damaged coving; re-skimming chimney breasts; machine-painting all of the above; tiling an awkward dog-leg shaped hallway (having first levelled and reinforced the sub-floor); levelling and re-tiling the porch step; renovating the bathroom with new flooring, sink, toilet and vanity unit; and various other ad-hoc jobs which inevitably crop up when you're having work done (all of which they promptly undertook without fuss).
