FAQs

How long can I keep the skip for?

All skips are based on a 10-day hire period from the day of delivery. Skips are not automatically collected unless pre-arranged. Longer hire periods are available at an additional cost. For further information please call our sales team.

Can skips go on the road?

For a skip to go on the road, a road permit has to be applied for in advance of the hire. Please contact our sales team for prices and availability if a permit is required.

How much can I put in my skip?

The contents of the skip must not exceed the height of the sides, we accept level loads only. For safety reasons, we are unable to collect over loaded skips.

When will my skip be delivered?

You will be given a delivery date when you place your order. We can not offer timed deliveries, however we will always try and accommodate AM or PM requests.

Can a skip be delivered over a wall/fence/hedge?

Skips need to be placed in a location to facilitate safe and efficient delivery and collection. Our trained delivery drivers will always endeavour to accommodate reasonable requests on skip siting.
