If you require a permit from your local council because you are planning to place your skip on a public road we will inform the council on your behalf and obtain the required permit.

Skip hire can be for any period up to 7 days. In cases where you have filled your skip before the allotted time, please call us to arrange an early uplift. If you require a longer period of skip hire, then please call our team for further information.

In early 2023 the government brought in new legislation that means any upholstered furniture that may contain Persistent Organic Pollutants has to be incinerated meaning we can no longer accept this waste stream in our skips. No one needs to be on site when the skip is delivered, however, we do ask if the drop off site is going to be unattended please can you leave clear instructions for us so our driver knows exactly where to place the skip.

Skips can be placed either on your property for example a drive way or garden, we would ask you to ensure that there is enough access for our vehicles and that the location is suitable for the skip to be placed. For example, if the skip is being filled with heavy material such as inert waste then a block paved drive or garden might not be the best location as there might be unavoidable damage upon collection of the skip due to the weight. If the skip is going off the property we can place it on the grass verge or the highway but we will need to get permission through the means of a permit from you local council (for further information please see the council questions above).
