FAQs
Can you provide site areas and volumes?
Yes, we can provide accurate site areas which can aid when purchasing land. We can also accurately set out the areas if disputed or if Land titles are divided. If you require the volume of material measured we can provide it, we undertake many stockpile surveys and have extensive experience on Landfill sites.
Can you trace underground services?
Unfortunately we do not trace underground services such as electricity, gas or water, but we work closely with companies that would annotate their tracings on to our surveys. However we can provide drainage information (invert levels, pipe sizes and direction) providing the manhole / inspection chamber covers can be located.
Do you use Ordnance Survey data?
Yes, surveys required to Ordnance Survey datum are surveyed using GPS equipment. We can provide Ordnance Survey maps and Land Registry plans digitally which may assist with Boundary Disputes.
Do you cover all areas of the UK?
Yes, the majority of survey work we undertake is in and around the North West; however we do undertake work all over the UK and have been involved numerous construction contracts throughout Europe.
How do I obtain a quotation for a measured building survey?
A quotation can be sought by contacting us with the details of your site with as much information as you have. This can be the site address and post code with a description of the site extents, but any existing plan information you can supply is always useful. One of our experienced measured building surveyors will then provide a proposal detailing our fee, survey scope, timescales and the deliverables.
