FAQs

Do I really have to choose a property early for the next academic year?

Most students start looking for next year's accommodation before the end of the year. If you choose at this time you will have a wider choice of better accommodation. Students who leave it until the summer will be left with a reduced and poor selection of accommodation.

What is the tenancy agreement?

It is a legally binding document between you and the landlord that states the amount of rent, length of tenancy, and your rights and responsibilities.

What are my responsibilities?

These are clearly set out in your tenancy agreement, which you should read carefully before you sign. If you have any questions about the agreement, we will be happy to talk them through with you.

What about insurance?

We insure the property and our contents but we advise all students to have their own insurance policy for their own possessions. You will not be allowed locks or bolts on individual doors.

What must I do at the end of a tenancy?

Ensure that you fulfil your obligations stated in the tenancy agreement. We will inspect the property with you to make sure it is left in the state it was given to you. At this final inspection we will ask for your keys.
