Waterproofing Orkney’s Air Traffic Control Tower, Scotland Due to heavy rainfall, this air traffic control tower in Orkney suffered from regular flooding. Newton Specialist Contractor Wise Basement Systems were called in to waterproof the structure to protect it from future floods. Despite the location being 10 miles from the mainland and with just 1 week to waterproof a basement with only a 600mm wide access hatch, the project was successfully completed without a hitch.
