Long Back Garden Build, Highgate, London, N6 Acacia Gardens undertook the garden build for a long back garden in Highgate, North London N6. We worked alongside Garden Designer Emma Appleby on this £30k project. The garden construction and soft landscaping included the following elements: Millboard Decking Installation: We installed a large Millboard deck accessible from the patio doors. Millboard is a great option for decking because it is made using a composite material that is easy to maintain and lasts a long time. Sandstone Terrace Installation: A paved terrace area was installed next to the greenhouse and raised vegetable beds. It provides the family with a second dining area and entertaining zone. Garden Path Installation: The long garden required several paths to aid navigation to the terraces, greenhouse and raised vegetable beds. We installed steppingstones, flagstones laid in gravel and a self-binding pathway to provide variation. Back Garden Soft Landscaping: The soft landscaping included laying a new turf lawn with zig-zag-shaped borders. Woodland planting was added to the rear of the garden to maximise the shaded spot.
