Can I store anything?

You can store most things at Dash Self Store with the exception of: Living items, such as animals and plants Hazardous materials, such as flammable liquids and explosives Items that could decompose, such as exposed foodstuffs Unauthorised or illegal goods, such as drugs or firearms For a full list of restricted items please see our terms and conditions.

Can I use electric appliances in my room?

Use of sockets within your unit(s) need to be approved with the Store Manager and some items are prohibited from use, such as heaters, kettles and loud equipment. All equipment must be available for PAT testing once a year. There are only a small number of rooms that have sockets within them. Alternatively you can arrange to have a power supply installed with the agreement of your Store Manager for an additional cost depending on your requirements. Please speak to the Store Manager to discuss what is possible.

Will I get a refund?

If when you vacate your storage unit your account is in credit, the balance will be refunded. There is no minimum charge for storage. you only pay for the time you need.
