FAQs

Will my carpets become dirty quicker after cleaning?

This can happen when detergent residuals are left in the carpet by not rinsing them out properly as soil will attract to these areas more quickly. The Rutland Cleaning Company only use eco-friendly detergent free cleaning solutions and make sure your carpets are left pH neutral having extracted the solution using only fresh water.

How often should I have my carpets cleaned?

This all depends on the amount of use your carpet is exposed to. In the case of an entrance hall or main living room and if you have a large family and pets then I would recommend every 6-12 months. If however you feel that your carpet just needs a regular maintenance clean then every 12-18 months will suffice. This may seem more regular than expected but will help maintain your carpets feeling clean and fresh for longer.

Are the cleaning solutions you use safe?

The solutions we use contain no detergents, no bleaches and no enzymes. They are non-hazardous and based on plant based food grade ingredients. They are environmentally friendly and mostly pH neutral. All are rinsed away using only fresh water leaving no residue in your carpets or upholstery. There has also been no animals used in testing during the development of these products.
