“I had all the carpets cleaned in my house today by Craig and they look fantastic. They are visibly cleaner and the pile has a whole new lease of life! Craig is incredibly knowledgeable and professional. Would highly recommend.”

FAQs

Do you clean flats?

Yes. We clean flats on any floor providing that there's either a lift or wide stairs to be able to get the equipment to the flat. There will need to be sufficient room outside in the communal areas to be able to leave the machine, as it's a big unit and won't be suitable to leave inside whilst cleaning. We can operate the machine from a distance of 100 feet from the room(s) being cleaned. An access code, key or key fob is required at all times whilst cleaning is taking place. Parking and access is required to get as close as possible to avoid longer cleaning times.

Why are there darker areas on my carpets after cleaning?

In most cases it's down to general wear and tear, but sometimes you can get 'pile reversal' which happens in the carpet manufacturing process and is more visible after being laid and fitted. Carpet cleaning won't change pile reversal and will still be visible after the clean.

Why does stain removal cost extra?

Most stains are water-based and are removed in the prespraying process and these are coffee, tea and some tannin-based stains. Other tough stains require specialist products which will need longer application and dwell times, which increase the cost and will always be explained on an on-site quotation or over the phone. If stains cannot be removed then there will still be a charge of time taken and product used on them.

Can you come back out and clean or treat the area?

All of the pet stains that are treated and removed with specialist products in conjunction with a water claw removes the urine and soiled areas whilst disinfecting at the same time. Once a pet has used the spot they will revisit that area no matter how much cleaning and disinfecting has been done previously. As an example, a typical dog's sense of smell is 10,000 - 100,000 times stronger that of a Human depending on the breed of dog. We don't accept liability after this cleaning service has been carried out as it's the clients responsibility to not let the pets use those areas again after we have completed a job. In severe cases, the urine can penetrate the underlay of the carpet and even the floorboards inc. the subfloor which again we would just advise to replace the carpet as cleaning has limitations and increases the cost of any service. Any revisit is quoted as per our price guide.

Do you use a Rug Doctor?

No. We use Prochem SteemPro carpet cleaning machines which are industry renowned. All of our other machines are top-specification to get the best possible cleaning results.
