Don’t waste your time & money getting a survey carried out by an unqualified company only to have the report rejected by the lender( It happens quite often). Some local competitors say they have PCA technicians (So do we) & are PCA qualified but this does not make them PCA members, that’s another ball game altogether, membership is only allowed after both site & office inspections & scrutiny of working & administration practices along with trading history & financial security along with the surveyors qualifications, if you don’t have a qualified surveyor you can’t get membership. You have got to ask when choosing an unqualified contractor why would you use some one who hasn’t passed the industry qualifications to prove they know what they are talking about ?
