Being NICEIC Approved means that we can not only carry out domestic tests but also commercial. Leigh Electrical Contractors we’re called and asked to carry out a domestic periodic inspection as the property was being sold and the buyer wanted the test before they completed the sale. As the test was needed urgently Leigh Electrical Contractors booked it in for the same day so they could complete. A full periodic inspection was undertaken that day and the property unfortunately received a unsatisfactory meaning that the property didn’t meeting current regulations. The buyer was issued with a certificate and advice on what to do next. In this case there were so many problems that a full rewire was agreed to be the easiest and cheapest solution.
