FAQs

What is re-decking?

Your roof is decked with a layer of plywood, or a material called OSB3. It covers the roof joists and supports the damp membranes, breather membranes, and insulation layers. If this layer becomes damaged by water leakages then it should be replaced completely. This is named as re-decking. A reliable roofing company will provide you with a free quote that you can compare to others.

If I have a flat roof installed, how does the rain escape?

When we fit a new flat roof, we always ensure that it is slightly inclined so that the rain can run off into its guttering and not left laying on top of your roof. You can see the different types of roofs that we have installed on our gallery page.

Can you fit a new roof onto our new loft conversion?

Yes, of course we can. We can even work with the building company to ensure that your new roof is fitted to coincide with the building work that is being carried out.

What happens if we have a new roof fitted and it leaks?

If this was to happen, then contact us straight away and we will come and rectify any problems that we find. We can assure you though that we are good at what we do and this would rarely happen.

How long does it take to install a fibreglass roof?

It can normally take up to a day to install a roof of this type but this does depend on the size of the area. Once we know what you would like us to do, we can give you an exact time frame of how long it will take.
